Debbie awarded Long Service Award
Debbie Gooch was presented with the ‘ Long Service Award to Netball’ by Pat Harris of Wiltshire Netball.
Below are the nomination comments, which were read out the presentation
‘Debbie has been a committed to netball for many years, she first joined Harlequins when her children were young and then became a member of the Blue Jays committee when her daughter started to play. She is the treasurer of our club and helps with coaching and with the entire organisation within the club, which involves, kit manager, team organiser, register on clubs night etc.
Debbie has also supported the Salisbury Netball League; she was the Vice Chair and a committee member for many years.
Over the years Debbie has given her time freely and is always the first to help out with anything that’s needs doing. Debbie works full time so to give up so much of her precious time is an achievement in its self’.
