Blue Jays 36 v Godolphin 25 9th March 2016 CLICK HERE to download the report Last night Blue Jays under 18s played Harman A unfortunately we lost 46-19. We played amazingly, great shooting and amazing interceptions from everyone.
Great 1st quarter starting of one up. Huge well done to everyone it was a great game. Well done Holly for getting umpires player and Ellie for getting players player. Great energy last night well played everyone, outstanding game. Thank you Mel for coming up, scoring and supporting us again. Beth xx Last night Blue Jays under 18s played an intense game against Downton 1. Unfortunately, we lost 31-14 but we learnt a lot during the game. In the 3rd and 4th quarter, everyone picked up their heads and played good quality netball, especially Alice King who created a lot of space on court and offered outstanding feeds into the shooting circle.
Also our GA and GS, Chloe and Beth, have to be mentioned for their accurate and consistent shooting throughout the match - and Beth was awarded player's player. Super good game girls, thank you to Mel again for supporting us. Ellie xx Last Wednesday our blue jays youth team played extremely well against swans, although we were beaten 36-31 we all put up a good fight!
A huge well done to everyone who played as they all gave it their best. A special well done to Amy Parsons and Alice king in particular who were chosen as the umpires players of the match. Both of you were the energy of the team tonight and your defending was outstanding! Thank you to Mel for coming up this evening and supporting xx Millie On Wednesday, Blue Jays U18's played their first match of the season against Hornets team. All girls played exceptionally well considering that we only had 6 players. The score of 52 - 14 doesn't reflect the effort put in by the whole team.
Everyone kept their heads held high until the final whistle and we remained positive throughout. The umpire emphasized that any one of the members of our team could have received umpires player, as all of us played to a high standard. Due to her amazing play even with the lack of another Centre court player, Players player (chosen by the other team) was Hattie Cuff WA. Umpires player was me, Alice King GD. Well done to all the players and Thank you to Jenny and Mel for coming up to support. X |
